A BWAISE taxi conductor, who saw a lady getting change of new sh1,000 from a petrol station stuck to them last week.

The conductor spiked back an old note the woman gave him as fare when she was alighting at Wandegeya.

The conductor insisted he wanted a new note.

He accepted the note when passengers began complaining of delay.

However, the conductor gave her sh300 as balance instead of sh500, as fine for the old note.
