<b>Railway set<br>KUMI</b> — Railway services are to resume after 12 years of dormancy.

— Railway services are to resume after 12 years of dormancy. Eng. Kasolo of Uganda Railways Corporation said work would resume as soon as the rails were inspected. A train from Kampala was test run to the district last week. Kasolo said the company suspended its operation in the area in 1987 due to rebel activities.

RDC warns

— The resident district commissioner, Charles Mubiru, has warned multi partyists against holding rallies without informing the authorities. Mubiru was speaking at the Women’s Day celebrations at Kachumbala. He said Police would disperse their rallies.
