MUBENDE — President Yoweri Museveni will today preside over the second annual Beef Day at Kisongwa Farm. Museveni is the patron of Uganda Beef Producers Association (UBPA). UBPA chairman Sam Kizito said this year’s theme was ‘Quality beef production in Uganda’.

KAMPALA — A man who allegedly defiled his 12- year-old niece was recently remanded in Luzira Prisons. Vincent Mwadrozi, an auditor in the finance department of Makerere University, denied the charges before Grade One Magistrate Deborah Wanume.
Fraud Probe
KAMPALA — The CID director, Elizabeth Kuteesa,has said the Police are investigating Alfred Jageno, an accounts assistant with the Co-ordinating Office for Control of Trypanosomiasis, following the disappearance of unspecified amounts of company money.
