JINJA — Deputy resident district commissioner Andrew Kameraho has urged youth in Busoga to embrace the private sector for employment. He said unemployment was still a challenge for the Government and the solution was in the private sector. He made the remarks at the National Students Leaders Union workshop at the district chambers on Saturday. The theme was “Leadership challenges. What is the way forward?

Silver jubilee
MBALE — President Yoweri Museveni is expected to be the chief guest as Mbale Secondary School celebrates its silver jubilee at the school campus tomorrow. The school will also fundraise for sh120m to complete a classroom block. Deputy headmaster Victor Mafabi said the theme of the event was ‘triumph beyond the sky’.

KUMI — District secretary for education George Akonopesa has urged dairy farmers to be visionary leaders. Opening a three-day training workshop of dairy farmers in leadership and marketing, Akonopesa said marketing and processing of farmers’ produce was still a problem in the country.
