A High Court judge has asked for permission to attach the property of the ISO director of economic monitoring, Teddy Cheeye, over a sh15m debt.
Commercial Court’s Justice Ssempa Lugayizi recently said the debt arose from damages and costs awarded to him, after he won a 2001 defamation case against Cheeye’s defunct Uganda Confidential newsletter
