THE Police on Monday arrested a 28-year old man for allegedly dealing in fake dollar notes in Gulu district, reports Cornes Lubangakene. The man allegedly used 150 fake dollar notes to obtain over sh2m from a municipality auditor, Tonny Odora.
The district Police commander, Richard Mvule, told journalists in his office on Monday that the suspect, Julius Musoke, was a resident of Kazo in Nabweru sub-county, Wakiso district.
He allegedly conned Odora of sh2,435,000m. “Odora took the dollar notes to the bank and a machine detected that they were fake,†Mvule said.
