MANAGERS and chief executive officers should promote creativity and innovativeness rather than mediocrity, a marketing expert and professor at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK, Colin Gilligan, has said.
Gilligan said many organisations worldwide have been victims of mediocrity.
â€œMost organisations promote mediocrity. That will make customers disappear because of lack of change. What to promote is creativity if you are to succeed,â€ he said during a breakfast at Fang Fang Restaurant, in Kampala, recently.
Gilligan said most organisations especially those which make huge profits tend to be adamant to change.
Promote creativity, managers told
