President Yoweri Museveni yesterday left for Lusaka, Zambia at the invitation of his counterpart Levy Mwanawasa.
Museveni, the chairman of the Common Markets for Eastern and Southern African (COMESA) countries, is expected to attend the 10th COMESA anniversary.

Gulu CAO for district court

Gulu chief administrative officer (CAO) Henry Owori is to be transferred to Gulu to face trail there, Buganda Road Court has directed.
Owori was remanded in Luzira Prison after he was charged with causing the district a sh39m loss.
State Attorney Conslate Ujeu asked court to transfer the case to Gulu, he committed the offence there and witnesses were readily available there.

Lawyers quit Kasulu case

Another law firm has abandoned Patrick Kasulu, the embattled real estate dealer.
Shonubi, Musoke and Company Advocates yesterday wrote to courts trying Kasulu’s cases to communicate the withdraw.
The company did not give reasons for its actions. Tumusiime, Kabega and Company Advocates were the first to withdraw their services.
Kasulu filed for bankruptcy on Friday, saying he did not have money to pay his clients’ debts.
