I, John Baptist Edward Awil, am the eldest surviving son of the late Edwardo Omara. I accompanied my father in 1968 to the George Cross medal award and re-union ceremony in UK, and again in the 1970 re-union. There are certainly so many details we can give about the late Omara’s life, and I will be happy to do so for the book about my late father.

I also see this as an opportunity to have my father’s great deeds well-documented for future generations to read and emulate his heart.
