SIR— I am pleased that President Museveni has directed the teaching of sex education in our schools. This has been overdue.
SIR— I am pleased that President Museveni has directed the teaching of sex education in our schools. This has been overdue. The discussion of sex in the presence of children is a taboo in many African homes. But it was also a taboo for African women to eat chicken and eggs until science shed light on the matter. Can I suggest that responsible and qualified people be asked to draw up a sex education syllabus that is both scientific and religious.Rev Can George Noel EnyaguUganda Christian University
