A TEAM of World Bank officials and donor agencies are in Uganda to discuss the implementation of various development projects in the Nile basin. The bank plans to spend US$140m on the projects.

A TEAM of World Bank officials and donor agencies are in Uganda to discuss the implementation of various development projects in the Nile basin. The bank plans to spend US$140m on the projects.Charles Wendo reports that the team, led by Barbara Miller, the bank’s Nile Basin co-ordinator, will consult water authorities in Uganda and other Nile basin countries on the Shared Vision Project initiatives, a statement from the Nile Basin secretariat in Entebbe, said. The project is to pave way for more investment.Ends
