SIR— Today’s education is not pocket friendly. It is even much more costly at degree level. When one talks of flying abroad, say for a masters degree, without sponsorship, it is even worse.

When one talks of flying abroad, say for a masters degree, without sponsorship, it is even worse.It is for this reason that I request the Makerere University School of Postgraduate Studies to introduce a nine-month masters degree at a little cost. District administrations should also consider offering bursaries or a vote to cater for students who gratify to join enter university for any level of study.
