HUNDREDS of mourners thronged St. Phillips Cathedral in Mukono to pay their last respects to the wife of Bishop Dr. Michael Senyimba, reports Nicholas Kajoba.

HUNDREDS of mourners thronged St. Phillips Cathedral in Mukono to pay their last respects to the wife of Bishop Dr. Michael Senyimba, reports Nicholas Kajoba.Agatha Senyimba, 59, died on Monday at Mulago Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by three daughters and a son.Bishop Senyimba was recently appointed as vice-chancellor of Ndejje University after retiring from active service in the Church of Uganda.The Bishop of Central Buganda diocese, Jackson Matovu, said, “We all need to pray for Bishop Senyimba because he has lost his companion who cannot be replaced. Agatha Senyimba was a God-fearing person. We should all emulate her.” He said the late Mrs. Senyimba worked for the church tirelessly. Ends
