COURT has issued fresh summons for Second Deputy Premier Brig. Moses Ali to clear his name over allegations that he issued fake hunting permits to Uganda Hunting Safaris.

Moses Ali to clear his name over allegations that he issued fake hunting permits to Uganda Hunting Safaris.Ali, who is also disaster preparedness minister, is accused by Larry Lagara of Eura Audit International, Tanzania, of issuing him with fake permits when he was tourism minister.Lagara, 53, of Arusha Tanzania, is on trial for allegedly forging hunting permits and obtaining money by false pretences from Antonio Ferreira, a Portuguese.Buganda Road Court Grade One Magistrate Duncan Gaswaga ordered Ali to appear before the court on July 11. Lagara is accused of forging tourism ministry hunting permits with signatures of Moses Ali and that of Uganda Wildlife Authority marketing and development director Saul Kaye.He is also said to have sold the fake permits to Tanzania Big Game Safaris at US$6500. The permits purportedly authorised Big Game Safaris to hunt game and construct hunting camps in Bugungu and Karuma falls.Ends
