THE Minister of State for Youth and Children, Dr. Alex Kamugisha, has advised the youth to embrace a saving culture in order to be able to mobilise resources for investment.

THE Minister of State for Youth and Children, Dr. Alex Kamugisha, has advised the youth to embrace a saving culture in order to be able to mobilise resources for investment.
He said without saving, there could not be meaningful investment.
Kamugisha was speaking at the graduation ceremony for 150 orphans and widows at the AIDS Orphans Vocational Institute in Butembe, Jinja on Saturday.
He called upon the youth to take cooperative societies seriously, saying it was the basis that would be used to fight unemployment.
The participants were awarded certificates in various vocational disciplines.
He also handed over sewing machines and other handcraft tool kits to the participants.
