A total of 74 head of cattle raided by suspected Pokots from Ngenge sub-county, Kapchorwa district, were recently recovered in Kariita sub-county, Nakapiripirit district.
The UPDF 3rd division commander, Col. Sula Semakula, said the cows were recovered from a herd rounded up by the UPDF.
The recovered animals were part of the 611 head of cattle and 12 donkeys raided by suspected Pokots from Sundet, Kabagirya and Ngenge areas between September 11 and 19. Ends
