IF you are one of those parents who fancy your children studying in India, your prayers have been answered. Officials from Indus International School of India were in Kampala last week. Trustees from the prestigious school made presentations to interested parents on October 18 and 19 at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel. The School’s Overseas Marketing Director, S. Sukumar said the school offers boarding facilities for boys and girls from Grade 5 to 12 (of P5 to S6). “Admissions begin in June for the 2003-04 academic year,†Sukumar said. He said the School follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Indian ICSE/ISC syllabi. “But the real curriculum of the school is leadership. We teach students how to cope with international situations,†Sukumar said. He revealed that they have met with Uganda Investment Authority Director Maggie Kigozi who invited them to build a similar school in Uganda.
