PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni has supported the initiation of the proposed private Nile University in West Nile, reports <b>Ahmed Angulibo.</b>
PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni has supported the initiation of the proposed private Nile University in West Nile, reports Ahmed Angulibo.
The Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Disaster preparedness, Brig. Moses Ali, said this recently.
“We met the President and we discussed many issues among which was the university. The President supports the university and he told us to think deeply why we need it,†Ali said.
He was speaking at Arua Catholic Centre where he chaired the proposed Nile University Subscribers or Body of Trustees meeting.
Ali, who is also MP for East Moyo county, Adjumani district, said the establishment of the university was very important. He advised that it starts with marketable courses like Medicine, Nursing, Science, Technology and Social Work. Ends
