‘Rich’ man pockets maize cob

A very smart and seemingly rich man walked into Nile Bank and as he was reaching into his pocket in a bid to remove his money, a maize cob fell out of it. He was not at all embarrassed by the entire scenario. He actually bent over, picked up the maize cob and put it back into his pocket. The onlookers were so mesmerised by his behaviour that one of them, a lady, walked out of her cue to try and talk the man into disposing of the cob.It in no way bothered him. He continued with what he had come to do. “I came chewing on the maize cob and by the time I walked into the bank, I wasn’t done with it,” said the man, who preferred to have his names withheld.After he was finished with his transaction, he walked out of the bank and continued nibbling at it.ends
