A boda-boda man sustained serious injuries after being hit in the head by a cripple in a wheel chair, Abu Ssalongo, near Nabulagala trading centre in Kasubi Parish. The boda-boda man suspected Abu of having stolen an old poster of Ssebaana Kizito. He immediately started a quarrel with him saying: “That is why God made you a cripple, because he knew that you would have been a terrible thief if you were normal.”“Yes, God is great to have given you these thin legs because you would have been so swift with people’s property if you were normal,” he added.Abu grimaced and said: “Who do you abuse like that?”There was practically no distance between the two men.Abu seemed restless in his wheel-chair. In truth, he was searching for one of the metallic crutches he kept smartly hidden in his wheel-chair.When the boda-boda man started to react, he was cut short by a sharp crack on his skull with the sturdy crutch, backed by all the strength Abu could muster with his well-developed upper body. The boda-boda man lay still, bleeding through his nose. Thinking the man dead, the cripple fled. The biker was carried away by his friends.ends
