Karuma-Kamdini Road Repairs To Cost Sh1b

By Ali MaoTHE repair of the Karuma- Kamdini road is expected to cost about sh1b.The Spencon Services company administrator, Mr Ruja, told The New Vision last week that road works equipment had been acquired to speed up the work.The road repair contract between Spencon and the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communications was signed on January 20 and work has reached the second stage.Ruja hailed President Yoweri Museveni and the entire Government for providing the security that has enabled them do their work.“The army patrols the areas where we are working right from Karuma Bridge to Kamdini,” he said.Ends
