THE European Union has released sh243m to promote social services in Apac district, an official has said.

By Patrick Opioin AruaTHE European Union has released sh243m to promote social services in Apac district, an official has said.Chief administrative officer Dr Ogwal Okot told The New Vision in an interview in his office April 5, that the money is to promote services at education, health, water and sanitation sectors.Ogwal Okot said classrooms and teachers’ houses in primary schools would be constructed using part of the money. He said part of the funds will go to construct three health centres, ward, staff houses and wells. Ogwal Okot advised programme implementers to ensure prompt and effective accountability for the funds.Ends
