Mental torture as a result of electricity bill!

SIR— I have suffered mental torture due to the electricity bills that reflected a consumption of sh948,620. I could not imagine that a person staying in his house alone could pay such a bill in only one month.When I made my reconciliation, I found out that my meter was reading differently from what was reflected on the bill. The bill read from 09457 to 14485 yet the actual reading was 09705.I reported this at UEB Banda and they promised to rectify their mistake. To thank me for reporting the problem, the next day I was disconnected. I went and paid what I thought was the outstanding bill and I was reconnected after one week.I received another bill on May 2 which reflected that I owed UEB sh1,156,185, which has confused me the more.
