The Ministry of Health has allocated hospital equipment to the 13 health units in Yumbe district.

By Ahmed Angulibo The Ministry of Health has allocated hospital equipment to the 13 health units in Yumbe district.The district LC5 chairman, Rashid Govule Iyiga disclosed this at the closure of the first council session of the second district local council, held at council hall on Saturday.The meeting was also attended by the Aringa county MP, Othman Alonga, the resident district commissioner, Ahmed Mustafa Doka and the chief administrative officer, Christopher Yikii Agatre.Iyiga said the ministry allocated 64 hospital beds, 10 delivery beds, 18 child cots, six baby cribs, operating tables, 20 examination couches and 12 emergency stretchers to the district health units.
