Allegations about Sabiiti dubious!

SIR— I wish to respond to a letter by Tanazio Rukandema of Nyakasura, Ibumba, Rukiga County, on your website on July 1.Mr Tanazio Rukandema and others who think like him should be informed that what Hon Sabiiti said that he would not campaign for President Museveni if he contested in 2006 is a constitutional stipulation as per article 105 section 2. Hon Sabiiti meant that for our country to realise meaningful democracy, then our leaders should respect the established rules that govern this country.Unfortunately, some people with ill-motive are using this for their own hidden agenda. Rukandema alleges that Sabiiti said that he is presidential material but does not state where this took place and what the occasion was.
