Banker Killed

By Moses NampalaUNIDENTIFIED gunmen in Jinja waylaid a banker and shot him several times in the head on Sunday night.Mohammed Kakumba, 35, who worked as a credit officer with the Uganda Women Trustees Bank, died 30 minutes later as he was being rushed to Jinja Main Hospital. The district officer in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department, Hillary Odoch, said Kakumba was shot at as he rode a motorcycle on Eng. Zikusooka Way, near former Dunlop Tyre Factory in Jinja town. He said the motive of the attack was yet to be established. Ends
