By Douglas Mazune UGANDAN rallying will late this month lose another of its leading drivers.Less than a year after Chipper Adams and Justin Beyendeza “retired”, Giovanni ‘Italiano’ Storchi is leaving the country.He ended his eight-year rally career in Uganda with the dfcu rally at the weekend.Storchi, an administrative officer at the Italian Embassy will leave the country on August 30 to take up a two-year assignment in Rome. The dfcu rally, in which he finished second, is the last in his eight-year career in Uganda“If I find someone to buy my car (Lancia Intergrale) I will sell it. Hopefully I will come back after two years but I don’t know whether I will continue rallying,” said the Italian, who has lived in Uganda for 25 years.Ends
