By William BikandemaRUKUNGIRI government prison accommodates over 170 inmates instead of 50 inmates and needs expansion.The officer in charge of the prison, Caleb Twikirie, revealed this recently at the closing of a 2-day training workshop on human rights for junior prisons staff. It was sponsored by the British High Commission.Twikirie said the prison had a backward toilet system (buckets) which should be abolished and that a septic tank should be constructed. Ends
