HOIMA — Police have arrested five UPDF soldiers after a two-hour battle at Butiaba on the shores of Lake Albert.

HOIMA — Police have arrested five UPDF soldiers after a two-hour battle at Butiaba on the shores of Lake Albert. The soldiers were arrested on Wednesday over armed robbery. One gun and 48 bullets were recovered from them. Hoima CID officer Patrick Rwenduru said the soldiers are attached to Masindi Army Barracks. He said the soldiers target tobacco farmers on market days.
