IN BRIEF: Movt officials visit Lira IDPs

LIRA — A Movement secretariat team led by research director Obiga Kania, visited Olilim sub-county to assess the situation of the Internally Displaced Persons. Kania told the chief administrative officer, Patrick Abal, that the government was committed to supporting people affected by the war. Kania, accompanied by the deputy director of information, Beatrice Amongi Lagada, said the UPDF had done a lot to wipe out the LRA rebels. Ends
