"He's followed Franco, he wants to know why Franco keeps disappearing in the middle of our games," Michael replied.

The story continues
"Now where has Samsoni gone. We want to the start playing!" Nalu shouted.

"He's followed Franco, he wants to know why Franco keeps disappearing in the middle of our games," Michael replied.

The children waited for Samsoni to bring back the ball. When Samsoni appeared again he had two boys with him, neither of them was Franco. The boys were wearing red and white football clothes. On the front of their T-shirts were the words "Ggaba FC."

"FC?" Mimu screwed up her face.
"It stands for Football Club," the others laughed. The Gaba FC boys walked into the garden with a bounce. They had shiny black football boots and thick red and white socks that reached up to their knees.

"They have brought us a letter!" Samsoni waved an envelope. The children swarmed around him like bees as he ripped open the brown envelope.

"Dear Kauka FC," Samsoni read out loud. "We challenge you to a match next Saturday, at our football grounds. The winners will be handed the Lake-Side Cup which has been donated by our patron, "Tycoon Bosco."

Come if you are men. Signed Amos Mugisha, team captain, Ggaba FC "
"Come if you are men?" Mimu screwed her face again. "We expected to see a team of real footballers like us. But what we are seeing are mostly girls!" one of the boys from Ggaba exclaimed! "I think we should take back the invitation. The Kauka team is too weak for us to bother with."

"Too weak !" Samsoni shouted. "Prepare for a defeat on Saturday."
The two boys looked down at Samsoni who was bare feet and in a torn T-shirt. Samsoni's chest was puffed out and he was standing on tiptoes.

"So you really think you can defeat us?" they said, and burst out laughing. They laughed so much that they held their stomachs and tears rooled down their faces.

After a long time they finally stopped and taking a deep breath said, "Okay, we shall see you on Saturday," and they ran out of the gate laughing.

"That was silly Samsoni!" Nalu cried." You should have left them to take back their invitation. We shall never beat them. What good players do we have?".

"Franco Zubanga, the refugee-boy from the DRC,"
" Where is he? We don't even know where he lives," Nalu frowned.
