We Await UNEB’s Explanation

SIR— When I read about the UNEB mix-up of the Literature examination a few weeks ago and read about UNEB boss Matthew Bukenya’s assertion that he would not resign, I was disappointed.

SIR— When I read about the UNEB mix-up of the Literature examination a few weeks ago and read about UNEB boss Matthew Bukenya’s assertion that he would not resign, I was disappointed. I recalled the incidence of the former EC boss Aziz Kasujja who also said he would not resign. Both Kasujja and Bukenya should have made apologies and kept quiet.
Two weeks after the Literature slovenly conduct, Gayaza High School A-level candidates were given Mathematics instead of French papers. The public is keen to hear UNEB’s reason. Mr Bukenya, who was responsible for that mix-up? Supposing the mistake had happened in Kisoro, Bundibugyo or Kalangala, how would it have been rectified quickly?
