KAMPALA — Weather experts have predicted that moderate El-Nino rainfall will continue in most parts of the central and western region despite this month’s prolonged dry spell.

KAMPALA — Weather experts have predicted that moderate El-Nino rainfall will continue in most parts of the central and western region despite this month’s prolonged dry spell. The drought has left most parts of the country threatened with famine. A statement from the acting commissioner of the meteorological department, S.A.K Magezi, said most areas in East Africa will be dry despite the current moderate El Nino phenomena in the region.
