Besigye fans get UK office

KAMPALA - Supporters of presidential candidate Col. Kizza Besigye have set up a UK campaign task force with an office in London. William Babumba, based in the UK, said in an E-mail message that the Besigye Task Force-UK is housed in the CHAIN offices on 3rd Floor East, Tharle House, 44-46 Southwark Street, London. CHAIN is an AIDS support NGO headed by Babumba. He said they will raise money from corporate bodies, organising discos and from individual contributions. He said CHAIN will meet the costs of running the UK Task Force. Louis Otika, Besigye's campaign coordinator in Kampala, said the national task force was not involved in setting up the UK branch. Ends
