KAMPALA - The Asian arrested last week over tearing a poster of presidential candidate Kizza Besigye has been bonded by the Police pending further investigation.

KAMPALA - The Asian arrested last week over tearing a poster of presidential candidate Kizza Besigye has been bonded by the Police pending further investigation. Amir Kassim Virgi, 67, was arrested on allegations that he tore down Besigye's posters from his building. Police spokesman Asuman Mugenyi said they were investigating whether Virgi tore down the posters maliciously. "We are still consulting with the Electoral Commission and the DPP," Mugenyi said on Friday. Ends
