The death of the great traditional doctor Makolo has let quite a few secrets out of the bag. We hear at the great traditionalist's burial at Kitagobwa last week, multitudes of prominent personalities most of whom were his clients and credited him for their financial progress, thronged his posh residence. We hear they ranged from politicians to the Kabaka who sent a representative because in Kiganda tradition, the king does not attend burials. Makolo was one of the traditional doctors who helped install the Kabaka on his throne at Naggalabi. Whispers from those who attended say that he was accorded such a stately burial because of his spiritual role in the Museveni bush war. There was also a lot of drama as a group of traditional doctors took over his burial from the Christians who they say he has helped a lot. Ends
