KAMPALA––Following the new curriculum introduced by the ministry of education and sports requiring each teacher to have a work load of 26 lessons per week, Old Kampala senior Secondary School has laid off 10 teachers who virtually have no lessons to conduct. Reliable sources told Education Vision that during a staff meeting teachers were informed that if they didn't receive a copy of school time table it would mean they were sacked. Those affected are only Diploma holders both on pay roll and those recruited recently. Ends
