By Dennis Ojwee THE security situation in Gulu, Kitgum and Pader districts has continued to improve although cases of movements in small groups by the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) have been reported. Marshall Odur, the Regional Police Commander, northern, said this on Wednesday in an interview with The New Vision on the security situation in the north. Odur said the LRA rebels were now moving in small groups and cause minor destruction, loot food, clothes and money. He said the security situation in the three districts had been improving in the past few weeks, although that did not rule out the rebels' presence in the area. "The situation is still calm and people are gaining hope. The three districts of Gulu, Kitgum and Pader are getting stabilised with a few cases of rebel attacks," Odur said. He said the population would soon settle down. Ends
