By Vision Reporters PRESIDENTIAL candidate Yoweri Museveni's task force yesterday denied any responsibility in the arrest of Maj. Okwir Rabwoni, head of Besigye's youth desk. Ofwono Opondo, the deputy publicity secretary of the team, said in a statement that the arrest of Rabwoni was a security matter which should not be blamed on the task force. Ofwono dissociated their team from reported talks to woo back Rabwoni from the Besigye camp to Museveni's side. He said none of the army officers named in the Rabwoni saga was a member of Museveni's team. "Candidate Museveni neither practices nor believes in intimidation, threats or blackmail as a method of soliciting for votes. Any person applying the above methods purportedly on behalf of Museveni or the NTF is an impostor and in breach of the Constitution and election law," Ofwono said. But he said Besigye's team had stage-managed the Rabwoni saga. Ends
