By Eddie Ssejjoba Presidential candidate Chapaa Karuhanga has said he is to establish a commission of inquiry into the Kanungu deaths and the killing of Muslims in western Uganda by the UPC men. Chapaa said this in Nyendo trading centre, Masaka, during his campaign tour. Responding to a question on the death of Muslims in western Uganda between 1979 and early 1980, Chapaa said once elected, he would investigate the murders. He said he would treat both incidents as criminal and not political. He said he would arbitrate between two once close associates, Col. Kizza Besigye and President Yoweri Museveni whom he said were likely to cause problems for the country. Ends
