THE trial of former presidential aspirant, Nasser Ntege Sebaggala, on charge inciting the public against paying graduated tax starts today, reports Jude Etyang. The case will be heard by Buganda Road Court Chief Magistrate, Mrs. Catherine Bamugemereire. Sebaggala, together with Lubaga South MP, Ken Lukyamuzi, were on February 12 charged with inciting violence, but they both denied the allegations and were granted bail. The State alleges that on February 7, while addressing a campaign rally at Kasanga Primary School, Sebaggala told the people to stop paying graduated tax, saying candidate Kizza Besigye, would scrap it. The two also allegedly made statements that could cause the masses to kill or injure foreigners who would turn up to vote on March 7 presidential elections. Ends
