By Vision Reporter A Nansana water porter almost failed to get bread on his plate for supporting the wrong candidate. The porter was asked by one of his customers to bring her some water. She wanted six jerrycans of water, which is over 120 litres. Water is a rare in Nansana, which is not connected to the National Water and Sewerage Corporation water grid. People get water from wells, which are often in the valleys. Wanting to make do it quickly he piled six 20–litre jerrycans on his bicycle. He got to the woman's house covered in sweat. When the woman came to pay him, she saw a poster of Museveni on his bicycle. She went mad. "No way, I shall not pay you," she said. "Take your water, I am not giving a Museveni supporter my money." The porter pleaded and said it was not intentional that he had the poster. However, the woman was adamant. She insisted that the porter should take his water. She was not going to have anything to do with a Museveni supporter. A passer-by hearing her, asked what the matter was. The porter narrated his misfortune. The woman (passer-by) told him to pour all the water on the ground. She then paid him sh2,000 instead of the sh1,200 he was expecting. Ends
