KAMPALA – Former Kampala mayor Nasser Sebaggala has criticised Libyan leader Col. Muammar Gadaffi's recent remarks that President Yoweri Museveni should stay in power even after his term expires in 2006. He told his supporters at Naguru Community Centre on Sunday that it was Gadaffi who advised former Ugandan dictator Idi Amin to declare himself life president in the 1970s. "When I heard Gadaffi's statement, I just became happy because we know Gadaffi's words as words of doom. When he advised Amin to rule till his death, Amin went shortly after. This may be a signal that Museveni's rule will not last," he said. Ends
