UABF names Kings Cup teams

By Robert Bukenya THE Bombers team to represent Uganda in the Kings Cup June 25 - July 1, at Lugogo has been named alongside two others Kobs and Zebra. Uganda Amateur Boxing Federation (UABF) spokesman Mohammed Ssebuguzi said Uganda is to be represented by five teams, the three National teams selected after trials last Friday in Kampala, a team from Buganda Kingdom and Lukanga boxing club. The annual Kings Cup at AIBA ratings status has attracted three other countries: Kenya entering two teams, Tanzania and Rwanda. Computer scoring will be used in conformity to AIBA rules. National coach Dick Katende said the five teams start non residential training today at Lugogo. Bombers: M. Serunjogi 48 Kg, M. Mubiru 51 Kg, A. Tebazalwa (captain) 54 kg, D. Mwanje 57 Kg, I. Sentamu 60 Kg, M. Kayongo 63 Kg, H. Saku 67 Kg, H. Wandera 71 Kg, Z. Senyange 75 Kg, J. Lubega 81 Kg, M. Sentongo 91 Kg and F. Bule 91 Kg plus. Kobs: P. Adyak, R. Iga, B.Matia, G. Aliga, A.
