13 Makerere students get certificates

THIRTEEN Makerere Law students have been awarded certificates of recognition after completing 10-week training course at Parliament House.

By Milton Olupot THIRTEEN Makerere Law students have been awarded certificates of recognition after completing 10-week training course at Parliament House. The certificates were on Tuesday presented by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Ms Rebecca Kadaga at Nakasero. The Chief of the Uganda Parliamentary Technical Assistance Project, Ms. Donna Bugby, said the programme sponsored by USAID is aimed at acquainting the young lawyers with legislation skills. USAID sponsors students from LDC and Makerere University for internship in Parliament and some private law firms. This year's team included seven students from Makerere and six from the Law Development Centre.
