Bad Driver Jailed 18 Years

COURT has sentenced to 18 years imprisonment, Ivan Kafeero, the driver of a lorry that overturned on Saturday, injuring 33 students of Naalya Secondary School on board, or pay a fine of sh665,000. Kafeero, 32, a resident of Naalya in Nakawa division, a Kampala, appeared at the Buganda Road Court and pleaded guilty to 36 of the 37 traffic offences he was to answer. He was charged with 33 counts of causing bodily injury by bad driving. Ends
