Rude adverts!

SIR—I am irked by the attitude that the WBS news round-up sponsor’s advert has towards those in authority, in this case the traffic officer. It keeps emphasizing the nickname of this law-enforcement officer. Secondly, it gives the impression that it is all right to answer rudely, especially if you think you are right. I believe it is possible to compose an advert that shows respect to those in authority, and still make profits. Dan N. Marlone Kampala
