Team secretary Oumo Gonza yesterday wrote to League Committee asking for a postponement of Saturday’s home match against Masaka LC. Gonza asked to be allowed to register new players despite licensing 35 at the start of the season. NFLC administrative secretary Aisha Nalule turned down the request. “We must stick to the fixtures if the league is to end on time,” she said. Tororo Municipality MP and FUFA delegate Apollo Ofwono said the team was in a crisis. “If these people are not helped, there will be no option but to withdraw from the league,” he said. Two other teams Horizon and Rhino have survived on NFLC aid. ends
