The Sugar boys beat Express twice and forced another draw against KCC. Villa has now lost eight points compared to second-placed KCC’s 14 from 19 matches both teams have played. Kenyan Abdu Lusamukha wasted over five easy scoring chances as Villa raided their opponents. Coach Leo Adraa said he had achieved his three-year dream of forcing Villa to drop points. “It is a great day for me and I take this as a win,” he said. In Mbale, a goal in each half by Julius Okocha and Julius Kibombo helped Heroes pip visiting Masaka at the Municipal stadium. Mike Katende got a consolation goal for Masaka. Iganga continued on a losing trend as they fell to Mbarara at the Saza ground. Abdu Isabirye’s lone goal did not help them. Raul Lukusa scored one of Mbarara’s goals. Horizon held military to a goalless draw in Kabale. The league resumes tomorrow when troubled Express hosts Heroes at Namboole. This is one match new coach Godfrey Nyola must win if he is to stay on at Express. The former Express defender, who replaced Asuman Lubowa, lost his first game 1-0 to champions Villa.
