By Phillip Corry IT was goal’s galore at the Stanbic Bank Kampala Kids League last weekend at Aga Khan High School. A total of 71 goals were scored setting a new record for the KKL competitions. Simba Telecom set the scoring standards with a 9-1 drubbing of Ostergaard in the mid afternoon league with Michele Cianta striking five goals while her brothers Marko and Nemanja Kostic completed the rout with a total of 4 goals. Coca-Cola and Roko then produced a six-goal thriller, Musominari scoring a brace and George Ndiko added another. Dorian Klonarides struck twice with Alan Buwule replying for Roko. In the other games played, Sabena held The New Vision to a draw. In the mid morning league for 8-9 years old, Eagle Air beat strong contenders Bakers Biscuits 3-2 while Transami beat Shell 4-0 in the Seniors category. ends
